Product Description
Potato starch is obtained by washing clean potato flour, filtering, precipitating, and drying the resulting precipitate. It can be used as a thickener. Potato Flour, also known as potato starch, should not be confused with the two. Although not as thick as cornstarch, it can retain moisture in some baked goods. Potato flour is heavier than cornstarch powder; Potato flour still has the taste of potatoes, while cornstarch no longer has a distinct flavor.
